About Game001

Game001 is a fast-paced 2D arena battle prototype focused on movement, timing, and resource control. You can play user-vs-user or user-vs-computer, with constant action from bullets, winged missiles, meteors, power pickups, and temporary status effects.

The core fun comes from quick tactical choices: chase pickups, pressure your opponent, or save cooldowns for defense. At the start, players can choose animal-head avatars (cat, dog, bird, fish, snake, sheep, rabbit, tiger), each with its own personality and sound style.

A match ends with a bold GAME OVER once one player's HP reaches zero.

Controls and Gameplay Basics

Together, these systems create a layered combat loop: aim, dodge, collect, charge, burst, and survive.

Development Story

The project began as a simple shooter prototype and gradually evolved into a richer combat sandbox. The direction shifted from "just functional mechanics" to "mechanics + feedback + personality." Over time, the game gained deflection physics, special weapons, timed buffs, dynamic explosion visuals, stronger end-of-match presentation, and avatar customization.

A key milestone was evolving the original cannon into a winged missile system with flame effects and custom audio behavior. Another was building an avatar selection pipeline so visual identity could be changed before each match.
